Absence of a Sole Source Dollar Threshold
Tribal 8(a) Sole source awards can be of any size for it is exempt from the $4M ceiling for civil agencies. Civilian agencies can sole source an award for up to $25M, while Defense can sole source an award for up to $100M. There is no requirement that a procurement must compete whenever possible before it can be accepted on a sole-source basis for a tribally-owned concern.
